Our Jac Pants have a beautiful square 'Kite' repeat print, inspired by the stunning kite festival of Jaipur. High waisted pleated trousers with triangle front button details, 2 deep side pockets and feature front pleats. They are available in our oversized fit in either SM or ML.

Made from 100% organic cotton, thick enough for everyday wear and softens with age - think a thin denim weight.

The pattern is stamped onto the fabric using the traditional dabu printing process. Dabu is an age old printing technique, passed down through generations of printers and is a mud resist process.

Firstly the fabric is printed in mud using a hand carved wooden printing block, the mud is used as an ink pad. It is then sprinkled with sawdust to dry in the hot Indian sun and then dipped in the natural grey colour Kassis to achieve the colour. Kassis is a mineral produced from iron deposits and is 100% natural and organic and is actually released back into the farmland once the process has completed.
